An Open Letter from General Super to the Three Warri Kingdoms

An Open Letter from General Super to the Three Warri Kingdoms

(Urhobo, Ijaw and Itsekiri)

Dear Sons and Daughters of the Three Warri Kingdoms,

I bring you warm greetings and a sincere message of peace, unity, and understanding at this important moment in our history.

Warri Federal Constituency has long been known for its rich culture, strong heritage, and the coexistence of the Urhobo, Ijaw, and Itsekiri ethnic nationalities. Though we may come from different backgrounds and traditions, we all share one common destiny — the peace, growth, and development of Warri.

As the 2027 general election approaches, I humbly appeal to every youth, elder, community leader, political stakeholder, and concerned citizen across the three kingdoms to maintain peace and order, irrespective of political differences or ethnic interests.

Recent developments surrounding the Supreme Court decisions and political discussions within the constituency should not divide us or create hatred among brothers and sisters who have lived together for generations. Rather, this period should remind us of the need for dialogue, mutual respect, and peaceful coexistence.

No meaningful development can take place in an atmosphere of violence, threats, or division. Investors do not come to troubled communities. Government projects cannot thrive where there is instability. Our children cannot enjoy a better future if we continue to fight ourselves.

The strength of Warri does not lie in conflict but in unity.

I therefore urge:

The Urhobo Kingdom to continue promoting peace and cooperation.

The Ijaw Kingdom to remain calm and committed to lawful engagement.

The Itsekiri Kingdom to uphold tolerance and unity for the collective interest of Warri people.

Politics should never make us enemies. Elections will come and go, but our relationship as neighbors and brothers will remain.

Let us reject every form of violence, hate speech, intimidation, and ethnic provocation before, during, and after the 2027 general elections. Let us instead embrace understanding, fairness, and peaceful participation in the democratic process.

Together, we can build:

Better roads and infrastructure

Quality education for our children

Employment opportunities for youths

Improved healthcare and security

Sustainable development across all communities in Warri Federal Constituency

History will remember us not for the battles we fought against ourselves, but for the peace we preserved for future generations.

May peace reign in Urhobo Kingdom.

May peace reign in Ijaw Kingdom.

May peace reign in Itsekiri Kingdom.

And may Warri continue to move forward in unity and progress.

Signed,

Super Ebilade Kamboh

(General Super aka 7Sea)
